This job is for you if:

  • You're a creative VFX Artist, who has outstanding skills in the creation of both realistic, and stylized 3D visual effects in the world of video games, and/or films
  • You're experienced in coming up with and creating particle and geometry based effects
  • You're great at working together with members of an agile and creative team, who work in different fields, while also maintaining a high degree of independence
  • You're proficient at understanding written English, and you are at least at a standard level at writing, and understanding spoken English
  • You regularly play video games in your free time

Your task will be:

  • Planning and creating in-game particle effects (unique effects for fantasy spells, explosions, fire, light effects, sci-fi weapons, etc.), while taking technical limitations into consideration
  • Creating effect textures with Photoshop
  • Following industry trends, making recommendations about what software and tools to use, and improving our work processes
  • Cooperation with the rest of our team (designers, programmers, graphic designers, testers, managers), in order for the effects to take on their best possible form

It`s advantageous if:

  • You're good at painting/drawing
  • You have experience with scripting, physics, shaders, and rendering
  • You have experience with visual post-production, compositing, and color correction
  • You have some animation experience
  • You have 3D modeling experience
  • You're experienced at using major game engines (e.g. Unreal, Unity)
